Dr. Ryan Melvin is a non-invasive cardiologist, board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine, who is passionate about cardiovascular disease prevention and optimizing existing cardiovascular disease to provide his patients with the best quality of life. He received his bachelor’s degree in brain behavior and cognitive science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed residency training in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in cardiology, at Michigan State University. Additionally, Dr Melvin has received training in cardiac computed tomography at the Orlando Health Heart Institute. Prior to his medical career Dr. Melvin served in the United States Marine Corps and was recognized with the Select Marine Corps Reserve Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Meritorious Corporal Promotion, National Defense Service Medal and Meritorious Mast for duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom II. 

In his free time, Dr. Melvin enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter going to the beach, playing in the pool, scuba diving, snowboarding, training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and attending automotive events. Dr. Melvin and his family are fans of Ford Performance Racing, Porsche Motorsports, Squadra Corse Lamborghini Motorsports, Indycar racing, and International Motorsports Association. He and his wife have attended multiple Ford Performance Racing Schools. Dr. Melvin and his family have had the pleasure of growing into the Bay County community since 2021.
